Overview
The Shipping Manager will oversee the logistics and operational aspects of our shipping department. This role involves managing shipping schedules, coordinating with suppliers and carriers, optimizing shipping processes, and ensuring compliance with regulations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership capabilities, have a deep understanding of shipping operations, and demonstrate a commitment to delivering exceptional service and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day shipping operations and processes to ensure efficiency
Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and carriers to optimize shipping schedules
Develop and implement strategic initiatives to reduce shipping costs
Monitor shipping performance metrics and prepare reports for upper management
Ensure compliance with local, national, and international shipping regulations
Train and mentor staff on best practices and operational standards
Collaborate with other departments to align shipping strategies with overall company goals

Requirements
5+ years of experience in a shipping or logistics operations role
