Overview
The IT WMS Implementation Specialist will oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of Warehouse Management System (WMS) implementations. This role entails collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration and operation of WMS solutions, improving warehouse efficiency and productivity. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical expertise, project management skills, and a strong understanding of warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the implementation of Warehouse Management Systems for clients
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and define requirements for WMS projects
Coordinate with IT teams to ensure successful integration of WMS solutions within existing systems
Conduct comprehensive training sessions for end-users to optimize system usage
Oversee testing and validation of WMS configurations before go-live
Monitor system performance post-implementation and address any issues promptly
Develop and provide documentation on system processes and user manuals
Continuously evaluate technological advancements and recommend system enhancements
Compensation
$70k - $75k yearly
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, or related field
2+ years of experience in WMS implementation or IT project management
Proven experience in managing technical projects from conception to execution
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate reports
