Overview

As a Clamp Operator, you will be responsible for operating and managing clamping equipment to secure materials in place during manufacturing and processing. Your role is critical in maintaining safety standards while ensuring that production targets are met efficiently and accurately. You will collaborate with team members to uphold quality control measures and contribute to a smooth workflow within the production environment.

Key Responsibilities

Operate and monitor clamp machinery to secure materials during production processes

Inspect workpieces for defects and measure with precision tools

Ensure machines are maintained and perform routine inspections

Maintain accurate records of production runs and machine performance

Collaborate with production team to meet daily production goals

Adhere to safety standards and report any safety hazards immediately

Assist in the training of new staff on machine operations and safety practices

Compensation

$20.00 hourly

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent

Previous experience operating clamp or related machinery

Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Physical ability to lift and move heavy materials

Willingness to work flexible shifts, including overtime as needed

Strong commitment to workplace safety

Skills

Proficient in operating various clamping machines and equipment
Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical stamina
Experience with quality control processes and standards
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
