Overview
The Training and Safety Compliance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of training programs and safety protocols to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and promote a safe working environment. This position requires strong leadership skills, a commitment to employee development, and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement comprehensive training programs related to safety standards and compliance
Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to ensure adherence to policies and regulations
Collaborate with department heads to identify training needs and compliance gaps
Maintain accurate records of training activities and employee certifications
Lead safety meetings and training sessions to promote safety awareness
Monitor regulatory changes and update training programs and materials as necessary
Investigate safety incidents and recommend corrective actions to improve processes
Compensation
$75k yearly
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Human Resources, or a related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience in safety compliance or training supervision
Certification in Occupational Safety and Health (OSHA) or similar recognized certification
Demonstrated ability to develop safety training programs
